Directions: From the M6, Junction 40 Penrith take the A66 towards Keswick (17 miles). Continue on the A66 and approximately 1 mile after the major roundabout turm left at the signpost for Portinscale. Drive through Portinscale and contine for 1 mile then turn right at the signpost to Stair. After 0.5 miles the road bears left with the Swinside Pub on the right. Continue down the hill for 0.5 miles and take the left hand lane signposted Little Town. Causey Cottage is 50 yards along the lane on your right.
